Benefits
• Durepox Xtreme ® – America’s Cup grade ultra high-tech bottom paint finish currently used by Team NZ!
– Proven faster release for that extra ‘slip’ = higher speeds..
– Harder and more durable than normal paint finishes.
– A windsurfing industry first. Taking it to the next level!
– Read about it here: https://reseneauto.co.nz/marine/team-new-zealand-latest/
• RTS – Range Trim System – 100% carbon/high-density pvc core removable cutout plates – Multiple designs – Significantly increases the range by 20% of all slalom models.
– Design A – (fitted with the board) – Best overall performance plate design striking a perfect balance between top speed, control, stability in high winds and acceleration.
– Design B – Feel the instant extra burst of acceleration and an increase in top speeds in high octane flatter water situations.
• Compact shape for increased control overpowered, earlier planing, better glide and increased acceleration away from the gybes.
• Refined slalom dedicated scoop-rocker line for easier handling, explosive acceleration and top-speed in both flat water and choppy conditions.
• Deep deck concave design – More stability in the now flatter standing area with the front foot after the gybe improves the planing and acceleration away from the mark. New design quick transition deep recess around the mast box increases downforce and nose trim stability at high speed and lift/fin drive at low speed for all sizes.
• Reverse Vee bottom shape – Generous vee and double concave configuration in the nose to clear the chop and create a smooth ride, transitioning to less vee and dc in the tail for reduced drag in the wetted surface area for ultra high speed bursts and acceleration.
• ‘V4 Vector Cuts’ – Proven fast straight line cutout design that facilitates clean and effortless water release.
• The deck layup is with 45 degree biax carbon for a slightly more forgiving feel than the 108-138, although the stiffness is still excellent to maintain the direct feeling and glide on the fin for those sessions in less than ideal conditions.
• Short Tuttle Strong Box – Double the carbon content, double the wall strength and stiffness, and built with a 100% high-density PVC sandwich body. The result – fins stay tight and the box holds the direct feeling performance even after prolonged use.
